Synchronization of IWIS2-WDMS with IWIS3-CENTRAL-DMS

In the current version of IWIS3, all germplasm lists for International Nurseries have been published to the central database and all yield and screening nursery data have been transferred by an automatic script written by Juan Carlos Alarcon to ICIS format.

Each nursery appears as separate study related to the germplasm list. Yield nurseries have three effects:

• plot data indexed by Entry, Occurrence, and Plot,
• environment data indexed by Occurrence, and
• summary data indexed by Entry and Occurrence.

The factors Entry Occurrence and Plot have labels designating germplasm, identifying trial sites and defining trial designs respectively.

When International Nursery lists are compiled they will be published in IWIS3 at the regular update times. Nursery data added to IWIS2, will be transferred to IWIS3 at the same time IWIS2 PMS data are uploaded.
