ICISworkbook: Depositing seeds in the inventory

In this exercise, you will learn how to deposit seeds in the inventory.

1. Click List ► Retrieve List.

2. Double click "U06DSF5" to retrieve the said list.

3. Select Inventory ► Administrator Log.

4. You will be asked to log in. Enter "RBREED" as both User Name and Password.

5. Click Inventory ► New Seed Transaction.

6. In the active worksheet, enter the amount of seeds in the SEED_AMOUNT column and the unit of measurement for the seed amount in the AMOUNT_UNIT column.

7. You will now select the seed location. Click Inventory ► New Seed Location.

8. Click the cell below the INV_LOCID column heading.

9. Then, click the (Lookup Entry) button in the toolbar to view the existing locations.

10. Select "INV_LOCID" as the Fill Column, "INVENTORY LOCATION" as the Lookup List, and "ID" as the Return Value. Duble click on the location where you want to store the seeds.

11. You will notice that the Location ID of "ST, Tray No 998" is written on the currently selected cell. Copy the Location ID "-1294" to fill the entire INV_LOCID column.

12. The seeds are now ready to be deposited. Click Inventory ► Deposit Seeds.
