Grain Biotech Australia (GBA) is a wheat breeding and research company located in Perth, Western Australia.

Established in 1999, GBA now employs 18 staff from around the world involved in wheat breeding, biotechnology and scientific research.

GBA's integration of conventional wheat breeding strategies and biotechnology is focused on providing Australian growers with higher yielding cultivars with greater disease resistance and agronomic performance. In order to speed cultivar delivery, GBA uses doubled haploid technologies and summer nurseries to reduce total generations.
