Avoiding DMS Retriever messages in Access

From ICISWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

If you use DMS Retriever with a fresh installation of Access, you will end up receiving a lot of messages about that it will delete or update (x) records from the specified table, and get you into a loop of 'OK' or 'Cancel' repeatedly. To avoid these messages, open Access (for instance with a blank database), go into Tools and Options, click the Edit/Find tab and uncheck 'Action Queries'.

Now DMS Retriever will not send a message on each little operation it performs.
